British officer's coat 1775
British 8th Foot officer's coat of c.1775. Authentically recreated from original coats preserved in UK and the USA, made from superfine scarlet red cloth and fully lined with white shalloon. Enquiry before ordering. For "unlaced" regiments (without metal lace braids, and featuring worked thread buttonholes) please refer to the Marine officer's coat elsewhere in this same catalogue.
This coat is only available made to measure. The fine gold lace pleated epaulettes (copied from original extant specimen) can be bougth seperately.
