British laced sleeveless waistcoat or vest for light companies, following the 1768 Royal Warrant. Squarely cut at waist all around without skirts or tails, with welt real pockets, it is made of wool madder red broadcloth, lined with raw or white linen or bay, and trimmed with regimental braid around the buttonholes, from 10 to 12 according to height.
