British marine officer's coat 1775
British marine officer's coat according to the Royal Warrant of 1768, of the type worn by Major Pitcairn in Boston 1775. Reconstructed from period portraits, pictures and extant officer's coats (of other units) preserved in UK (National Army Museum) and the USA.
Made of superfine scarlet cloth, faced white cloth, and lined with white wool shalloon. Only available cut and fitted to your own meaures.
The fine silver vellum lace pleated and fringed epaulettes can be bought seperately. Usually marine officers wore them on both shoulders.
