Garde Suisse c. 1792
Complete undress uniform of the Swiss Guards as worn on 10 August 1792 when they tried to defend the Tuileries palace from the mob. Carefully reconstructed from period primary sources (archival and pictorial) and the original extant coat preserved in the Geneva museum.
The price includes all items of clothing and equipment, exclusive of weapons (musket and sword), i.e.:
coat, waistcoat, breeches, gaiters, shoes, shirt, neckstock, cocked hat, waistbelt, cartridge box with silver plate and shoulder belt.
The uniform can be made by standard sizes, or to measure (see measure form above).
