Hungarian pantaloons 1740-1867
Hungarian pantaloons for foot units of the Austrian army (Hungarian and Grenz infantry). Reconstructed from the plates and text of the various regulations and extant original specimens, they are made of medium "cornflower" blue broadcloth, faced with natural hemp canvas at waistband, fall, back seat and knees. Lower leg slit closed with hooks an eyes, instep of cloth. Distinctive "hungarian knot" of mixed black&yellow square cord decorating the narrow front fall, as well as along the outer leg seams. Leather waist belt running inside the narrow channel at waist.
These traditional netherwear remained quite unchanged through successive patterns, please specify in the notes which one you actually need. Available in standard sizes or by measure.
