Polish/Dutch lancers parade pantaloons/overalls
Pantaloons or overalls worn by the Polish and Dutch lancers of the French Imperial Guard.
Meticulously copied from original extant specimens preserved in the Krakov and Warsaw museum collections, down to its smallest details.
Made of wool broadcloth, with cord piping and double band of facing colour on the outside leg seam, wide fall front. The tight-fitting lower leg openings for the Polish pattern pantaloons are fastened with crimson cord lacing, and the bottoms feature a gaiter gusset that covers the upper boots, with instep strap of leather. The Red Dutch lancers pattern are wider in the lower legs, with openings fastened by hooks & eyes and a single metal button that is also fixing the instep leather strap.
